Compile Pal

Usage statistics

Compile Pal can report anonymous usage counts. Reporting is off by default and is enabled in Settings. Everything the service holds is on this page.

Contents of a report

Included

  • Launch and compile counts
  • Compiles succeeded, failed and cancelled
  • Number of recognised compile errors
  • Application version and Windows build number
  • Which supported game was compiled for

Not included

  • Any identifier: no account, machine ID or hardware fingerprint
  • Map names, file paths or compile output
  • Presets, settings or custom compile steps

One report is sent per session, as the application closes. The destination is compiled into official builds rather than read from a file, so builds from source report nowhere.
